**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Curriculum Development:** Design and implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum for pre-primary students, incorporating a blend of play-based learning, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.
2. **Child-Centered Learning:** Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through a variety of age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, art and craft, music and movement, and sensory exploration.
3. **Individualized Instruction:** Provide personalized attention and support to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of each child, including those with special needs or English language learners, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion.
4. **Classroom Management:** Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected, and engaged, implementing developmentally appropriate behavior management strategies as needed.
5. **Parent Communication:** Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child’s progress, share insights into their child’s development, and collaborate on strategies to support learning and development at home.
6. **Assessment and Documentation:** Assess children’s progress and development through observation, documentation, and portfolio assessment, maintaining accurate records to track growth and inform instructional planning.
7. **Professional Development:** Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities, workshops, conferences, and collaboration with colleagues, continually refining teaching practices to meet the evolving needs of young learners.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
2. Teaching certification or licensure (preferred).
3. Experience working with young children in a pre-primary or early childhood setting.
4. Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
6. Passion for working with young children and creating engaging and enriching learning experiences.
