Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of teaching experience and a strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum. Fluency in English is essential, along with a dedication to fostering mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities in young learners.
*Key Responsibilities: *
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum standards.
– Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
– Collaborate with colleagues to integrate mathematical concepts across the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
– Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
*Qualifications and Skills: *
– Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Mathematics, or related field.
– Minimum of one year of teaching experience
– Experience teaching mathematics using the Cambridge curriculum is highly desirable.
– Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Strong knowledge of primary mathematics concepts and pedagogy.
– Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
– Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
