Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:
   • Design and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards.
   • Create and update curriculum materials, including syllabi, reading lists, and assignments.
2. Instruction:
   • Teach various social science subjects, such as history, geography, economics, sociology, and political science.
   • Use diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including lectures, discussions, and multimedia resources.
   • Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and open discussion on relevant social issues.
3. Assessment:
   • Develop and administer tests, quizzes, projects, and other forms of assessment to evaluate student progress.
   • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.
4. Classroom Management:
   • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
   • Enforce school policies and rules to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
5. Student Support:
   • Offer additional support to students who may need extra help, including tutoring and one-on-one guidance.
   • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
6. Professional Development:
   • Stay current with developments in the field of social sciences and education through continuous learning and professional development.
   • Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and other school-related events.
