Position Overview of English Faculty
Wonder World School is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Faculty member to join our team. As an integral part of our faculty, the English Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English language and literature to students. Responsibilities:
– Design and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged to participate actively.
– Assess student learning and progress through a variety of assessment methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
– Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
– Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns and ensure student success
- Delivering Engaging Instruction: The English Faculty will design and implement innovative and engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of our students. Using a variety of instructional strategies and resources, they will create dynamic learning experiences that ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking skills.
- Creating a Supportive Learning Environment: Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom culture is essential. The English Faculty will create a welcoming and supportive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to participate actively in their learning journey.
- Assessing Student Progress: Regular assessment of student learning is vital for academic growth. The English Faculty will utilize a range of formative and summative assessment methods to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborating with Colleagues: Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of our school community. The English Faculty will collaborate closely with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support each other in achieving our shared goals of academic excellence.
- Engaging with Parents and Guardians: Open communication with parents and guardians is crucial for student success.
