Role Overview:

The Dance Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging dance curriculum plans, providing high-quality instruction in various dance styles, organizing performances, and assessing student progress. The ideal candidate will create a positive and inclusive studio environment where students can thrive and develop their dance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Curriculum Development: Develop and implement comprehensive dance curriculum plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs and interests of students. Design engaging lessons and activities that foster creativity, skill development, and artistic expression.

2.Instructional Delivery: Provide high-quality instruction in various dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. Teach choreography, technique, and performance skills while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

3.Studio Management: Create a positive and inclusive dance studio environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore their potential. Establish clear expectations for behavior, attendance, and participation to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.

4.Performance Coordination: Organize and coordinate dance performances, showcases, and other events to showcase students’ talents and achievements. Collaborate with colleagues, students, and community members to plan and execute successful performances that celebrate the art of dance.

5.Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress and skill development through ongoing observation, evaluation, and feedback. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their technique, performance quality, and overall dance proficiency.

Qualifications:

– Teaching certification and relevant experience in dance instruction.
– Proficiency in various dance styles and choreography techniques.
– Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
– Passion for inspiring students through the art of dance.

Salary and Benefits:

– Salary: $25,000 per month
